Vanilla-Cookies // Vanilleplätzchen
Ingredients:
250g wheaten flour
1 level teaspoon baking powder
75g sugar
2 packets vanilla-sugar
1 egg (medium size)
125g butter or margarine
50g full-cream milk chocolate
Preparation:
1. Put flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla-sugar, the egg and the butter in a bowl. Then knead it with the food processor till the dough gets a whole. Don't wonder if you get crumbles first just continue kneading and it'll work.
2. Roll the dough on a floury table thin out ( if it's sticky, don't worry just use more flour and knead the dough a little bit with your hands).
3. Then cut out the cookies with a round cookie cutter (average 4 cm) and put them on a greased baking sheet.
Heated Air 180 Degree Celsius (pre-heated)
Gas Oven lvl 4 (pre-heated)
Top-/bottom heat 200 Degree Celsius (pre-heated)
Baking time 10 minutes per baking sheet
4. Put the cookies out of the oven for cool down.
5. Melt the chocolate over a hot water bath and then sprinkle the cookies with the chocolate.
